Nation observes Kashmir Day to highlight Indian atrocities in IOK

Islamabad (Web Desk): Kashmir Day was observed on Friday across the country to highlight the atrocities by the occupation forces in the Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK).

As per the details, a human chain will be formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan in the federal capital to express solidarity with Kashmiris. A large number of people will participate in the event.

The human chain will be formed from Convention Centre to D Chowk. PM Imran will address its participants.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has also announced to organise a protest rally against India and to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren.

In occupied Kashmir, the sufferings of the people enters the 68th consecutive day due to military lockdown and communications blackout.

The huge presence of Indian troops has made the life of Kashmiri people a hell. The internet and mobile phone connectivity continues to remain completely suspended adding to the miseries of the besieged people.

The publication of newspapers has also been hampered as they fail to update their online editions while journalists are unable to report from the ground as the territory remains virtually cut off from the outside world.
