Lahore (Web Desk/Agencies): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has felicitated Pakistan cricket team on historic ODI series win over Australia on their home soil.
Celebrating the momentous achievement, the PCB chief highlighted that defeating the World Champions Australia in Australia was a feat that had brought immense pride to the nation.
“The entire nation’s pride has been lifted by the outstanding performances of our players, who outclassed Australia in all departments — batting, bowling, and fielding,” Naqvi said, adding that this victory belongs to every player and member of the management who contributed to this team effort.
In a commanding eight-wicket win, Pakistan’s bowlers set the tone for success. Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf delivered stellar bowling performances, restricting Australia to a low score.
In the chase, once again, Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub showcased composure and skill, securing victory with responsible batting, while Captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan made vital contributions with the bat.
