Trump says 1,000 missiles 'locked and loaded' if Iran tries to assassinate him

Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran has positioned around 1,000 missiles for potential use, warning that the United States is fully prepared to respond with overwhelming force if necessary.

Speaking on the escalating tensions with Tehran, Trump said the US military has already been instructed to take decisive action should Iran carry out any threat against him or attempt to target him.

He cautioned that any move by Iran to act on alleged assassination threats would result in severe consequences, stressing that Washington would not hesitate to respond.

Despite the sharp warning, Trump said the United States had agreed to resume negotiations with Iran after Tehran requested that diplomatic talks continue.

According to the US president, the Iranian government approached Washington seeking to keep the dialogue open, and the United States accepted the proposal. He added that negotiations with Tehran would move forward at Iran's request, signalling that diplomatic engagement remains possible despite heightened regional tensions.
