Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz distributed e-bikes among students at a ceremony in Lahore om Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, she said the government is committed to provide all possible facilities to poor and needy students.
The Punjab CM said that 27,000 bikes are being provided on merit through e-balloting.
She said that the government will pay half of the down payment for these e-bikes.
Maryam ensured that the monthly instalment would not exceed Rs5,000.
The Punjab CM announced that in Phase II, the number of e-bikes will be doubled.
