Netanyahu’s visit to United States may spark regional tensions: Iran

Tehran (Web Desk): Iran has cautioned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the United States may potentially spark a new crisis in an already volatile region.

According to Iran’s National Security Adviser Ali Larijani, while the United States has approached negotiations with a pragmatic mindset, discussions during the visit were limited strictly to nuclear issues, leaving out other critical matters such as military capabilities and missile programs.

Larijani emphasized that this selective focus could overlook broader regional security concerns, implying that Netanyahu’s US tour might exacerbate tensions rather than resolve them.

In addition to addressing the US-Israel visit, Ali Larijani conducted bilateral talks with the Sultan of Oman.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in detailed discussions on strengthening diplomatic, economic, and strategic ties between Iran and Oman.

The talks underscored the mutual interest in maintaining stability in the Gulf region and enhancing cooperation on various political and economic fronts.

Analysts suggest that Iran’s warning reflects its growing concern over regional security dynamics, particularly in the context of Israeli-American cooperation and potential policy moves in the Middle East.
