Quetta (Web Desk): Four police personnel were martyred in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) against terrorists in Kuchlak near Quetta on Tuesday.
According to details, police conducted an operation on the information of the presence of 'terrorists' in Kachlak, near Quetta.
During the operation, police and the suspects exchanged fire in response, in which four officers were martyred and one terrorist was killed.
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of four police personnel.
He also expressed sympathy with bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls.
Earlier on Monday, at least four people, including two policemen were martyred and several others injured in an explosion in Kandahari Bazaar area of Quetta on Monday.
As per the reports, the explosion occurred near a police vehicle in the busy market at Shahrah-e-Iqbal in Balochistan's capital.
Soon after the explosion, security forces cordoned off the area and rescue services shifted the dead bodies and injured to hospital.
