Rawalpindi (Staff Report): US Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale on Tuesday met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed matters of regional security and mutual interest, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
David Hale appreciated the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad to purge the country of terrorism, the statement said.
According to the military’s media wing, the visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pak Army’s contributions towards regional peace and stability.
The military offensive Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad was launched after a series of attacks in the country in February.
