COAS Bajwa pays farewell visits to Sialkot, Mangla garrisons

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Sialkot and Mangla garrisons as part of his farewell visits to various formations, the military's media wing said on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS met officers and men at both locations and addressed the troops.

He appreciated the formations for their excellent performance during various operations, training, and natural calamities.

The army chief advised troops to keep serving the nation with the same zeal and commitment no matter what the circumstances.

Earlier, on arrival at Sialkot, the COAS was received by Lieutenant General Muhammad Aamer and Lieutenant General Ayman Bilal Safdar at Mangla garrison.

On Wednesday, General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Peshawar and directed the troops to always stay focused on their professional duties in the service of the nation.

On arrival at Corps Headquarters, the COAS laid a floral wreath at Shahuada (martyrs) monument, the ISPR said in a press release.

Later, the army chief addressed officers and men of the Peshawar Corps, where he appreciated the formation for its monumental efforts in achieving peace and stability.
