Lahore (Staff Report): Pakistan Peoples Party leader and senior lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan on Wednesday has demanded resignation from DG ISPR, adding that the federal government had succeeded in saving Prime Minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz from the Dawn Leaks scandal.
Aitzaz Ahsan said while talking with media that despite the facts, all matters had been resolved between the civilian and military leadership. He requested ISPR Spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor to resign.
The PPP leader said, “The Pakistan Army spokesperson should have resigned rather than take back his tweet.”
Aitzaz also said that the Pakistan Army spokesperson should have resigned instead of taking such decision. He further stated that the government had been successful in protecting PM’s daughter from the Dawn Leaks scandal.
