Rawalpindi: The funeral prayers of those who were martyred in the attack on the vehicle of the security forces in Lakki Marwat was offered in Bannu.
According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), funeral prayer of Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas, Subedar Major Muhammad Nazir, Lance Naik Muhammad Anwar, Lance Naik Hussain Ali, Sepoy Asadullah, Sepoy Manzoor Hussain, Sepoy Rashid Mehmood was offered in Bannu.
Corps Commander Peshawar, serving officers, jawans and the general public participated in the funeral prayer.
Pak Army’s media wing said, after the funeral prayers, the bodies of the martyrs were sent to their native areas. The martyrs will be buried with full military honors.
ISPR says the security forces of Pakistan are committed to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and the sacrifices of brave martyrs reinforce the resolve.
