Govt hikes petrol, diesel prices by over Rs13 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products, with the revised rates taking effect from midnight.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs13.18 per litre, while high-speed diesel has become costlier by Rs13.80 per litre.

Following the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs310.71 per litre, while high-speed diesel will now be sold at Rs323.30 per litre.

The Petroleum Division said the revised prices will come into force nationwide from 12:00am.
