Ferrari unveils first fully electric sports car 'Luce'

Maranello, Italy (Web Desk): The globally renowned Italian car manufacturer Ferrari has unveiled the details of its first-ever fully electric sports car, "Luce." This vehicle is being hailed as the beginning of a new chapter in luxury design and cutting-edge electric technology.

The Ferrari "Luce" is not just an electric car, but a complete performance package. The car features individual electric motors on all four wheels, collectively producing over 1,000 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

In place of the traditional engine sound, Ferrari has developed a system that amplifies the electric motor's natural vibrations, giving the driver the true "Ferrari" experience.

The design of the car was created in collaboration with Jony Ive and Marc Newson's company, "Loveform," after five years of meticulous effort.

The interior boasts sporty leather bucket seats and aluminum switches. In contrast to the modern trend, Ferrari has opted for physical buttons and toggle switches instead of a touchscreen to ensure the driver stays focused on the road.

The gauge panel is equipped with advanced layered OLED screens, presenting information in a highly clear and detailed manner. The car also features a glass gear shifter and a unique console clock that displays various functions through its hands. When the key is placed in the console, it changes color, adding to the car's luxury appeal.

Ferrari has announced that the full exterior design of the car will be unveiled globally in May 2026.
