Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Ikramullah, a student from the flood-affected area of Qila Saifullah in Balochistan, who recently secured third position in the Rawalpindi Board exams.
During the meeting, Ikramullah shared that he had promised to achieve a top position and fulfilled it through his hard work and the prayers of his parents and teachers.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his happiness and recalled meeting Ikramullah in 2022 during his visit to Qila Saifullah at a relief camp, where the talented student expressed his desire to pursue higher education. The Prime Minister had then committed to supporting his educational expenses and later enrolled him in the prestigious Lawrence College.
The Prime Minister remembered, "I still recall that day; it was very sunny, and Ikramullah was wearing a black shalwar kameez. He told me that there are no schools in his area and children have to travel far for education. The passion for learning in his eyes deeply impressed me."
Ikramullah thanked the Prime Minister, saying, "Many things happen in politics, but your approach towards me was beyond politics. You believed in a student from an underprivileged area and gave me a bright future. My success is the result of your efforts."
He also mentioned that besides studies, he participates in sports and speech competitions. The Prime Minister appreciated his all-round talents and presented him with a special gift, stating that it will be helpful for his future education and career.
This meeting not only highlights Ikramullah’s hard work and talent but also exemplifies Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s compassionate initiatives, which provide promising students from underdeveloped areas a path toward a brighter future through education.
