Armed Forces of Pakistan fully prepared to deal with Indian aggression: defence minister 

Islamabad (Web Desk): Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said the country's armed forces are fully prepared to deal with the situation arising out of the Indian aggression.

Speaking in the National Assembly, he said our forces are valiantly fighting the enemy forces on the Line of Control (LoC) and the working boundary.

The defence minister noted that Indian intentions had been effectively countered, leaving their leadership, media, and public disheartened.

He said that the morale across Pakistan remains high—from its armed forces to its political leadership and civilian population.

Khawaja Asif highlighted the successful downing of five Indian fighter aircraft and multiple drones, stating that the nation stands proud of its military, which enjoys the full support and confidence of the people.

On the diplomatic side, the minister outlined the government’s proactive engagement with the international community.

He mentioned that Pakistan is in regular communication with allies such as China and Gulf states, who have reaffirmed their solidarity.

The defence minister added that Pakistan’s representatives at the United Nations (UN) are actively and effectively conveying the country’s position, and he claimed that no other nation has openly backed India amid the rising tensions.

Contributing to the debate, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman condemned India’s targeting of religious sites, including mosques and madrasas, which, he said, led to civilian casualties.

He applauded the valiant and effective response of the armed forces to Indian aggression. 
Fazl said his party is observing Youm-e-Difaa-e-Watan today to condemn the Indian aggression.

Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain praised the unwavering vigilance and strength of Pakistan’s military, describing it as among the finest in the world and fully capable of defending the nation against any threat.

Echoing this confidence, Misbah Uddin remarked that while war is never a preferred path, if conflict is forced upon Pakistan, its military, bolstered by national unity, will rise to defend the country’s sovereignty.

Haji Rasool Bux Chandio reinforced the shared sentiment in the assembly, declaring that Pakistan would never allow any external threat to jeopardize its security or integrity.
