Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received telephone calls from several world leaders, who appreciated Pakistan's successful diplomatic efforts that have led to the Iran-US ceasefire, as well as negotiations between the two sides, in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a phone call this evening from the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
During an extremely warm and friendly conversation, the Qatari Amir congratulated the Prime Minister on Pakistan’s successful diplomatic efforts, which have facilitated a ceasefire between Iran and the United States and led to the start of negotiations in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude for the Amir’s appreciation of Pakistan’s sincere mediation efforts and highlighted the importance of the country’s role in promoting regional peace.
He also praised the wisdom and restraint shown by the Qatari leadership, which has maintained composure despite continuous challenges over the past six weeks.
Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for Qatar’s leadership and people, assuring that both nations would continue to stand shoulder to shoulder through all circumstances.
Both leaders expressed hope that joint efforts would soon restore peace and stability across the region.
