DPM Dar, Saudi FM express concern over ceasefire violations in Lebanon

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have expressed serious concern over reported violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon, signaling unease over the fragile security situation in the region.

The matter was discussed during a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

During the conversation, both leaders emphasized the urgent need for strict adherence to the ceasefire agreement, stressing that its full implementation is vital to ensuring enduring peace and stability.

DPM Dar also conveyed Pakistan’s appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continued support for its efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace.

The two sides agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on the evolving situation.
