Punjab CM Maryam directs to establish Special Road Maintenance Squad at district level

Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has directed to establish Special Road Maintenance Squad at the district level to ensure better upkeep of roads across the province.

While presiding over a video-link meeting, she directed commissioners and deputy commissioners to personally oversee development initiatives and ensure that every project is carried out strictly in line with the approved designs, prescribed materials and relevant technical requirements.

CM Maryam Nawaz also called for attractive and contemporary designs at the entrances of cities, along with enhanced landscaping.

The Punjab CM also directed that food streets should be developed with adequate parking facilities and proper arrangements for cleanliness, sanitation and smooth traffic flow.
