1st Test, Day 2: Pakistan resume first innings against England

Multan (Web Desk): On the second day of the first cricket test against England in Multan, Pakistan resumed their first innings at overnight score of 328 for 4 on Tuesday.

On Monday, the first day of the first cricket test against England in Multan, Pakistan in their first innings were 328 for 4 at stumps on Monday with centuries by captain Shan Masood and Abdullah Shafique.
Pakistan Captain Shan Masood elected to bat first after winning the toss.

Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub opened the match however, Saim departed early with only 4 runs.
After Saim Ayub was removed from the game, Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood established a strong partnership and steadied the innings. Two sixes and ten fours helped Shan Masood to his century, and Abdullah Shafique also hit his century before getting out for 102. Together, the two added 253 runs.

Shortly after Abdullah Shafique’s wicket, Shan Masood was caught for 151 runs with just two additional runs added to the score.

At the closing of the first day's game, Babar Azam was out after scoring 30 runs while Saud Shakeel remains undefeated at 35 with Naseem Shah yet to score.

For England on first Day, Gus Atkinson bagged 2 wickets, while Chris Woakes took 1.
