Gold price decreases by Rs4,200 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in the local market saw a significant drop on Thursday, with the rate for 24 karat gold falling by Rs4,200 per tola.

The precious metal was traded at Rs352,700, down from Rs356,900 a day earlier, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold dipped by Rs3,601, settling at Rs302,383 compared to the previous rate of Rs305,984.

A downward adjustment was also observed in the 22 karat segment, where 10 grams were priced at Rs277,194 after a decline of Rs3,301 from Rs280,495.

Silver also followed the downward trajectory, with its per tola rate declining by Rs65 to reach Rs3,417. The price for 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs56, now standing at Rs2,929.

On the global front, gold experienced a notable reduction of $42 per ounce, falling from $3,385 to $3,343. Silver in the international market also slipped by $0.65, closing at $32.35.
