President Asif Ali Zardari appoints chief justices of four high courts 

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the appointment of new chief justices for four provincial high courts, following recommendations processed under Clause (1) of Article 193 of the Constitution.

The Ministry of Law and Justice issued official notifications confirming these appointments, which will take effect once the newly selected justices are sworn into office.

Justice Sarfraz Dogar has been appointed to lead the Islamabad High Court, while Justice Rozi Khan Barrech will serve as the new chief justice of the Balochistan High Court. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Justice Syed Muhammad Attique Shah has been chosen to head the Peshawar High Court, and Justice Junaid Ghaffar will take charge of the Sindh High Court.

The oath-taking ceremonies for the incoming chief justices are expected to be held later this week. Justice Dogar will be administered the oath by the President at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

The governors of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh will officiate the ceremonies for the respective provincial high courts.
