Russia, China would not be afraid of NATO without the US, says Trump

Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has stated that Russia and China only fear the United States and that NATO would be a "useless and powerless" alliance without America. He expressed doubts about whether NATO would stand by the U.S. in times of need, but affirmed that the U.S. would always remain with NATO.

Trump criticized most NATO countries for not meeting their defense spending commitments, claiming that many nations are not spending 2% of their GDP on defense, and that the U.S. is shouldering the burden of the alliance.

According to him, he forced some countries to contribute up to 5% of their GDP towards defense, something that was previously considered impossible.

The US president also claimed that if he had not intervened, Russia would have already taken control of all of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, according to an executive order released by the White House, the U.S. has announced its withdrawal from 66 global organizations and the cessation of funding to them. This includes 35 non-UN organizations and 31 UN agencies. This move reflects Trump's policy of prioritizing America's interests on the global stage.

Trump's criticism of NATO and global organizations appears to be part of a new diplomatic strategy that emphasizes America’s interests above all. The decision to cut funding and withdraw from global organizations marks a significant shift in the U.S.'s international relations and foreign policy approach.
