Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a decline of Rs1,046, settling at Rs299,000 per tola on Saturday, compared to its previous rate of Rs300,046.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs897, now standing at Rs256,344, down from Rs257,241.
Meanwhile, 22-karat gold also experienced a decrease, with its price for 10 grams falling to Rs234,990 from Rs235,812.
Silver prices also saw a downward trend, as per tola silver dropped by Rs48, now priced at Rs3,330, and the price for 10 grams fell by Rs42 to Rs2,854.
The international gold market recorded a slight decline of $8, with gold trading at $2,861, down from $2,869.
