PM Shehbaz returns home after 3-day official visit to Malaysia

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived back in Pakistan on Tuesday after completing a three-day official visit to Malaysia.

The visit, held from October 5 to 7 at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

PM Shehbaz was joined by a high-level delegation that included the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, several federal ministers, and senior officials.

The visit featured extensive discussions between the two leaders on matters of mutual interest, along with regional and international developments.

PM Shehbaz and Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim explored new avenues to expand bilateral collaboration in diverse fields such as trade, investment, information technology, telecommunications, the Halal industry, education, energy, infrastructure development, and the digital economy.

They also underlined the importance of closer ties between the peoples of both nations.

The two leaders witnessed the signing of various agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in both ongoing and newly identified sectors.
