Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices saw a notable decline on Thursday, with 24-karat gold losing Rs5,400 per tola, bringing its price down to Rs276,800 from Rs282,200 on the previous trading day.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs4,630, dropping to Rs237,311 from Rs241,941.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased to Rs217,535, down from Rs221,780.
Meanwhile, the price of one tola of silver declined by Rs130, settling at Rs3,300, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs111.46, bringing it down to Rs2,829.21.
These local price adjustments come as the global gold market also experienced a dip, with gold prices falling by $65 per ounce, from $2,727 to $2,662, as reported by the association.
