Rawalpindi (Staff Report): A Pakistan Army captain embraced martyrdom and another soldier was critically injured while neutralising an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Mohmand District.
“Another son of soil laid his life while performing duty. Capt Zarghaam Fareed embraced martyrdom while neutralising an IED detected at Mohmad Gat in Mohmand Distt. Sepoy Rehan of BD team got critically injured. 25 years old Capt Zarghaam was unmarried and belonged to Sargodha,” Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) director-general Major General Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday said in tweet.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed overall law and order situation of the country.
PM Imran Khan briefed the Army chief regarding his visit to China and discussed matters relating to the situation arising after the religious party’s protest.
They also reviewed action being taken against those who vandalised the public and private properties.
