Trump claims major success in strikes on Iran, says military action provides global security

Florida (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has declared that recent American military strikes on Iran have been highly successful, inflicting severe damage on the country’s military while aiming to minimize casualties.

Speaking to Latin American leaders in Florida, Trump said that US operations targeted Iran’s naval, air, and communications infrastructure, resulting in the destruction of over 42 Iranian naval vessels and the crippling of key portions of its air and telecommunications systems.

He added that previous strikes had also focused on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which, according to Trump, had brought the country dangerously close to obtaining nuclear weapons. He described the campaign as a decisive blow to Iran’s military strength.

“Wars inevitably involve some loss of life, but our objective is to keep casualties as low as possible,” Trump said. He further emphasized that US military action against Iran serves not just the Middle East, but provides a global security service.

The president also mentioned plans to form a new military coalition to combat narcotics trafficking, highlighting the broader scope of US strategic operations.

Earlier, Trump stated on social media that Iran has suffered major setbacks, issued apologies to neighboring countries, and pledged not to launch further attacks. He claimed that these concessions were made under pressure from continuous U.S. and Israeli military actions.

Trump accused Iran of attempting to dominate the Middle East and asserted that the country had aimed to extend its control over the region.
