Gold price decreases by Rs2,500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold and silver prices witnessed a notable decline on Monday, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,500, bringing the new rate down to Rs353,000 compared to Rs355,500 on the previous trading day. Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,143, settling at Rs302,640, whereas it had stood at Rs304,783 earlier.

For 22-karat gold, the price of 10 grams declined by Rs1,964, moving from Rs279,394 to Rs277,430.

Silver rates also saw a decrease, with the price of one tola falling by Rs30 to Rs3,841. The price for 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs25 and was recorded at Rs3,293.

On the international front, gold prices slid by $25, reaching $3,310 per ounce from the earlier value of $3,335. Silver in the global market also recorded a drop of $0.30, now priced at $36.57 per ounce.
