Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold experienced a notable increase on Tuesday, rising by Rs1,000 per tola, bringing the selling price to Rs276,000, up from Rs275,000 on the previous day.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs857, reaching Rs236,625 from Rs235,768.
The price of 22-karat gold also saw a small uptick, with 10 grams now priced at Rs216,907, compared to Rs216,121 earlier.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged. The price of silver per tola held steady at Rs3,350, while 10 grams of silver was priced at Rs2,872.08.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $10, moving from $2,632 to $2,642.
