Islamabad (Web Desk): The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted rain and snowfall in the upper districts of the country, while most other areas are expected to experience cold and dry weather.
According to the department, various districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are set to receive rainfall. Areas such as Dera Ismail Khan, Batgram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Kohat, Bannu, and North and South Waziristan are likely to witness rain.
In the upper districts of the province, snowfall is expected on the mountains, which will increase the intensity of the cold. Meanwhile, Islamabad is expected to experience cold and dry weather.
In Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas, temperatures are expected to be very cold, and tourists have been advised to take necessary precautions.
For Sindh and Balochistan, the weather is likely to remain cold and dry in most districts.
In Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will remain partly cloudy, and extremely cold conditions are expected.
