Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s lady police constable has joined the bomb disposal squad and entitled as the first lady to join the force in Pakistan and Asia.
Rafia, 29 years old, had joined police department seven years ago to fight the war against terrorism in the country. Currently, she has joined the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bomb disposal unit for 15 days training session accompanied by 31 male officers in Nowshehra’s School of Explosive Handling where she will be trained about explosives handling, its types, identification and disposal.
While talking to the media the courageous constable said that a bomb exploded near session court at the day she joined the Police force but the incident could not hold her back from achieving her dream.
