Pakistan strongly condemns storming of Al-Aqsa mosque by of Israeli forces, calls It violation of international law

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent attack by Israeli forces on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the violence against unarmed worshippers, describing it as a clear violation of international law and relevant resolutions of the United Nations.

In a statement issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the spokesperson said that the desecration of the holy site and the targeting of worshippers are against the fundamental principles of human rights.

The statement stressed that Israel’s actions represent a direct assault on the sanctity and historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The spokesperson further said that such incidents not only hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims around the world but also undermine ongoing efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the region.

Pakistan expressed serious concern that repeated actions of this nature could further escalate tensions.

Pakistan called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take immediate notice of Israel’s continued aggression and to take practical steps to ensure the protection of the rights of the Palestinian people.

Reaffirming its longstanding stance, Pakistan stated that lasting peace in the region cannot be achieved until the Palestinian people are granted their right to self-determination and Israel abides by international laws and United Nations resolutions.
