Iqra Kanwal served notice by NCCIA over promotion of gambling apps

Lahore (Web Desk): The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has summoned well-known YouTuber Iqra Kanwal in connection with an inquiry into the promotion of gambling applications on social media. The agency has already sent her two official notices regarding this matter.

Iqra Kanwal’s legal counsel, Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq, has submitted a written reply on her behalf, stating that she is currently pregnant and has been medically advised to rest for two months, making it impossible for her to appear before the agency at this time.

The NCCIA has issued a firm warning that if she does not present herself within the stipulated period, it will be assumed that she has no valid defense to offer.

In addition to Iqra Kanwal, two others — Rajab Butt and Muhammad Anas — have been called to appear before the agency on September 9.
