Gujranwala (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said that development defines the politics of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of Mass Transit Project in Gujranwala, she announced the initiation of a Metro Bus service in both Gujranwala and Faisalabad.
The Punjab CM praised the rapid infrastructure developments, stating that the completion of 20,000 kilometers of roads in just one year is nothing short of a miracle.
Maryam Nawaz also criticized the performance of the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), which has been in power for 12 years, calling the province a "ruin."
She criticized the provincial leadership, saying the position of Chief Minister had been reduced to a joke and lamented the lack of significant achievements despite the previous Chief Minister’s ties to Dera Ghazi Khan.
Referring to decisions made in Haripur, Maryam highlighted that some of the decisions were wrong due to incompetence. She also pointed out the irony of those who had once spoken of the country defaulting during their tenure, now having forgotten their claims just a year and a half later.
