Gold price increases by Rs11,300 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices registered a substantial increase across Pakistan on Thursday, with the rate of 24-karat gold per tola soaring by Rs11,300 to reach Rs449,236, according to the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

The association reported that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs9,688, taking it to Rs385,147. Likewise, 10 grams of 22-karat gold became costlier by Rs8,881, with the new rate fixed at Rs353,064.

Gold also gained ground in the global bullion market, where its value rose by $113 per ounce to settle at $4,268, the association said.

Silver prices also moved upward in the domestic market. The rate of silver per tola increased by Rs35, reaching Rs6,659, while 10 grams of silver became Rs30 more expensive, closing at Rs5,709.

On the international market, silver prices also edged higher, advancing by $0.35 per ounce to $61.80, according to the APSGJA.
