Actor Sheharyar Zaidi considers his wife Nayyara Noor’s death as 'biggest tragedy of life'

Lahore (Web Desk): Renowned Pakistani actor Sheharyar Zaidi has revealed that the death of his wife, Nayyara Noor ,remains the most tragic event of his life. Following her passing, he says many people have advised him to remarry, but he feels unable to form such a connection with anyone else.

Zaidi, along with the late singer Nayyara Noor, was considered one of Pakistan’s most beloved couples in the entertainment industry, serving decades in art, music, and culture.

In a recent appearance on the program Zabardast aired by Neo News, Zaidi spoke about his wife’s final days, describing the intense pain she endured. Nayyara Noor battled cancer for nearly ten years, with the illness eventually spreading to her spine, causing her severe suffering.

Zaidi shared that her passing has left him feeling deeply lonely. “Even when I’m around people, I feel alone. At home, I sit in my room for hours,” he said.

He also mentioned that while some people have suggested he remarry, “it’s impossible for me to have the same bond with anyone else. Losing my wife is the greatest tragedy of my life.”

Although Nehra Noor retired from singing in 2012, she will always be remembered as one of Pakistan’s finest vocalists. The legendary singer passed away on August 20, 2022, leaving behind an enduring legacy and marking the end of an era in Pakistan’s music and entertainment history.
