Punjab govt allows gyms, sports facilities, and IT industry to operate during night hours

Lahore (Web Desk): The Punjab government has taken an important decision regarding gyms, sports facilities, and the IT industry, granting exemptions to certain sectors from closure timings.

According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), gyms and sports facilities will now be allowed to remain open beyond the previously fixed operating hours.

The notification further states that the IT industry has been permitted to continue operations during night hours, while international call centres have also been exempted from closure restrictions.

Officials said the purpose of this decision is to improve the performance of the digital and services sectors and ensure continuity in business activities across the province.
