Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar recently received a call from US National Security Advisor (NSA) Michael Waltz, who conveyed President Donald Trump's gratitude for Pakistan's ongoing efforts in the fight against terrorism.
During the conversation, Dar extended his congratulations to Waltz on his new position and expressed Pakistan's eagerness to further strengthen its relationship with the United States under President Trump’s leadership.
He reiterated Pakistan's commitment to continue collaborating with the US in combating terrorism.
Dar also took the opportunity to commend President Trump's decision to withdraw the US military equipment that had been left behind in Afghanistan.
The two sides discussed the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various areas, including technology, energy, and natural resources.
They also agreed on the necessity of maintaining ongoing discussions on vital issues such as trade, climate change, healthcare, and investment, with the aim of fostering a more comprehensive and forward-looking partnership between their nations.
