Khuzdar (Web Desk): A deadly explosion rocked Balochistan’s Khuzdar district on Wednesday, leaving at least four people dead and five others injured.
According to police, the blast, which occurred in the bustling Naal Bazaar area, was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a motorcycle.
The explosion not only claimed lives but also ignited nearby vehicles, creating a scene of chaos and fear among those in the area.
Local authorities, along with emergency services, quickly responded to the situation, rushing the injured to nearby hospitals in Naal and Khuzdar for treatment. The area was promptly cordoned off to prevent further casualties and secure the scene.
Taking notice of the incident Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the blast.
“Terrorism will be eradicated in all its forms,” he said adding that elements hostile to peace will fail in their nefarious objectives and those involved in this incident will be brought to justice.
The Balochistan CM directed to provide the injured with the best medical care available.
This tragic event follows a separate attack just two days prior, where a suicide bomber targeted a convoy of paramilitary forces in Kalat.
The attack claimed the life of one soldier and left four others wounded.
