Youm-e-Istehsal: Rally held in Islamabad to express Pakistan's unwavering solidarity with the Kashmiris 

Islamabad (Web Desk): A large rally was organised on Constitution Avenue in Islamabad on Tuesday to observe Youm-e-Istehsal, with people from all walks of life joining the event to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Participants chanted slogans in favour of the Kashmiri people while condemning what they described as India's continued oppression and human rights violations in the disputed territory.

Speaking to the gathering at D-Chowk, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam commended the courage, perseverance and unwavering spirit of the Kashmiri people.

He said that despite years of alleged repression and persistent human rights abuses by India, the people of IIOJK had remained steadfast in their demand for the right to self-determination.

He also appealed to the international community to fulfil its responsibility by ensuring the implementation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, saying a fair settlement was essential for lasting regional peace.

Addressing the rally, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry reaffirmed Pakistan's continued political and moral support for the people of IIOJK in what he described as their legitimate struggle for self-determination. He added that Pakistan would continue raising the Kashmir issue on international platforms.

Separately, the Foreign Secretary led a solidarity walk along Constitution Avenue, where officers and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated to demonstrate support for the people of IIOJK.

At the same time, Pakistan's diplomatic missions across the world, together with members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora, organised commemorative programmes aimed at highlighting the situation in IIOJK before the international community and reaffirming support for the Kashmiri people's cause.
