Karachi (Staff Report): At least three terrorists belonging to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in a police encounter in Ittehad Town area of Karachi on Tuesday.
According to details, police and other law enforcement agencies conducted a joint operation on a tip-off in Ittehad Town.
The police sources said that two of the three terrorists killed during the joint operations were suicide bombers. The law enforcers also recovered weapons, explosives, ball bearings and suicide vests from the scene.
The sources added that the terrorists were plotting to carry out an attack in Karachi on the same level as the one in Mastung.
Meanwhile, police and other law enforcement agencies launched operation to arrest accomplices of the terrorists.
