London (Staff Report): Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is currently staying at son Hasan Nawaz’s home for recovery after undergoing a successful throat cancer surgery.
According to details, Kulsoom Nawaz underwent the operation on Friday and will receive chemotherapy treatment starting this week.
Doctors will decide this week when she may be able to travel to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Sharif, who went to London to tend to his ailing wife last week, is likely to return to the country by September 10.
