Lahore (Web Desk): Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited Kinnaird College for Women University on Saturday, where the faculty members and students extended him a warm reception.
In an interactive session with the participants, he reflected on the Pakistan Army’s professional commitments and its central role in safeguarding the nation’s security.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry emphasized the increasing relevance of effective communication in the dynamics of contemporary warfare.
Highlighting the Army’s wide-ranging responsibilities, the DG ISPR pointed out that its contribution goes far beyond defending the frontiers, extending to humanitarian relief during natural disasters, international peacekeeping operations, and initiatives aimed at socio-economic advancement.
He also touched upon the evolving security challenges and how social media has become a decisive factor in shaping perceptions and national discourse.
The event was further distinguished by a musical performance from a visually impaired student, which drew an emotional response and warm applause from the audience.
Students, while paying their respects to the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans, voiced their appreciation for the Army’s role in maintaining peace and stability in the country.
