Karachi (Staff Report): Karachi University on Thursday announced result for MBBS 4th year professional examination 2018.
According to the university officials, 823 candidates appearing in the exams 699 were declared pass and 124 fail. All first three positions were clinched by girl students, they added.
The position holders belonged to Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry, Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences and Jinnah Medical and Dental College respectively.
Zumaira Swaleh d/o Muhammad Khalid (Seat No.182420) from Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry secured 957 / 1150 marks and clinched the first position followed by her classmate Sundus Kamran d/o Muhammad Kamran (Seat No.182415) declared second with 952 / 1150 marks.
The second position was also shared by Samar Lal Shahid d/o Shahid Hafeez (Seat No.182636), from Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences Trust (For Girls) securing 952 / 1150.
Summaya Fatima d/o Zulqarnain from Jinnah Medical and Dental College (Seat No. 182076) obtained 948 / 1150 marks and stood third in the examination, said the KU official.
