Islamabad (Web Desk): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan's bail pleas in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust reference and the Toshakhana NAB investigation cases for November 7.
As per the cause list issued by the IHC, a two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri will lead the hearing.
The court has issued notices to the Election Commission of Pakistan and the NAB.
Imran Khan, in his petition, challenged the trial court’s decision dated August 5, in which, his sentence was suspended in the Toshakhana case but his conviction remained intact. He prayed the court to suspend the trial court’s August 5 judgment.
The accountability court had dismissed the Khan’s bail in NAB cases for non-compliance.
The PTI chief was granted bail after the suspension of his sentence in the Toshakhana (gift repository case). However, he is currently detained in Adiala Jail in the missing cypher case.
