Pakistan to highlight India’s aggression in UN security council briefing

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has directed Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations to take immediate steps to convene a meeting of the Security Council.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan has decided to formally brief the Security Council on the current regional situation.

The statement further mentioned that Pakistan will inform the Security Council about India’s aggressive actions, while also highlighting India’s illegal actions regarding the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty.

Pakistan will clarify how India’s aggressive actions are jeopardizing regional peace and security.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this diplomatic move is part of Pakistan’s efforts to present accurate facts to the international community.
