Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar on Tuesday said it is the first time that over 164,000 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in a single day on Monday.
In a post on Twitter, the minister said the vaccination process of people aged 40 and above was also started yesterday across the country.
کل پہلی دفعہ کسی بھی ایک دن میں ویکسین لگانے کی تعداد ڈیڑھ لاکھ سے تجاوز کر گئی. کل ایک لاکھ چونسٹھ ہزار سے زائد افراد کو ویکسین لگائ گئ. کل پہلا دن تھا کے 40 سال اور اس سے زیادہ عمر کے لوگوں کو ویکسین لگائ گئ.

On the other hand, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 837,523 on Tuesday after 3,377 new coronavirus cases surfaced in the country during the last 24 hours.
According to the government's COVID-19 portal, the death toll related to coronavirus has reached to 18,310 with 161 fatalities reported during the last 24 hours.
Over the last twenty four hours, total number of recovered COVID-19 patients across the country reached 733,062 after another 5,018 virus recoveries were reported.
