PTA announces temporary suspension of mobile device registration

Islamabad  (Web Desk): The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced that the registration process for mobile devices will be temporarily suspended from 12:00 AM on December 6 to the evening of December 7.

According to PTA, this suspension is due to scheduled maintenance work by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), during which the Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS) will not be available.

The authority has advised users to complete their mobile device registrations in advance to avoid any potential delays during this period.
