Islamabad (Staff Report): Senior politician Javed Hashmi on Monday, decided to rejoin Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) after invitation from former prime minister and party president Nawaz Sharif during a central executive committee (CEC) meeting at the Punjab House in Islamabad.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif met with senior leaders of PML-N. Ousted Prime Minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz, Ahsan Iqbal and Khawaja Saad Rafeeque were also present in the meeting.
As per details, Nawaz Sharif met with senior politician Javeed Hashmi in Punjab House, Islamabad and officially invited him to join PML-N, and suspected party will offer Javed Hashmi Senator’s post.
The matters pertaining to the party’s future and other organisational issues were discussed while the agenda of the session was also talked about.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took the members of the committee into confidence about party’s future strategies.
Meanwhile, PML-N leaders chanted slogans to support Nawaz Sharif.
Earlier today, Nawaz Sharif along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz reached the court however, they were directed to appear at 1pm as the decision of IHC over their plea to merge all three National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references yet to come.
During the proceeding, Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris requested the court to adjourn the hearing tillTuesday as IHC will announce its verdict at 12pm today.
