Gold price increases by Rs1,500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw an uptick on Monday, rising by Rs1,500 to reach Rs301,500 per tola, compared to the previous trading day’s Rs300,000.

According to Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold surged by Rs1,286, climbing from Rs257,201 to Rs258,487.

The cost of 22-karat gold also experienced an increase, with 10 grams rising by Rs1,179, moving from Rs235,776 to Rs236,955.

In the silver market, the price per tola went up by Rs30, settling at Rs3,270, while the price for 10 grams saw a rise of Rs26, reaching Rs2,803.

In the international market, gold prices advanced by $12, reaching $2,869 per ounce, up from $2,857. Silver also saw a modest increase, with prices rising by $0.36, from $31.05 to $31.41 per ounce.
