Lahore (Web Desk): Recently Pakistani film actress Meera revealed that likes to make an impact and she doesn’t seem to care if it’s a good or bad one.
She delivers punchlines, create controversies or even allow herself to become the target of jokes. Contradictory, confusing and very, very filmi, Meera is inimitable in her ways.
Meera said, she will invite Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto instead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on her wedding.
Meera said in an interview, she will marry a businessman and not any of the government officials as they don’t give time to their families.
She added, “Reema Khan claims to be my friend but always puts hurdles in my ways, therefore, I will not invite her on my wedding.”
However, showbiz personalities have termed Meera’s wedding in August as drama and a piece of cheap publicity.
“I don’t take myself too seriously,” she told. “I like to laugh and I plan jokes beforehand when I am about to make a red carpet appearance or have a press conference. I want people to enjoy themselves with me. They keep asking me about my age and so I let them. I just joke back about it. I am the most famous actress in the country and these things are unimportant to me. I can’t let them become the focal point of my life.”
